How to Control the Cholesterol Level

There are two primary types of cholesterol: Low -density lipoprotein (LDL), which is bad cholesterol because it collects in the arteries and blocks blood flow and High-density lipoprotein (HDL), which is very good cholesterol because it tends to take off the LDL deposited on the artery walls as it passes through your bloodstream. This means LDL elevates our cholesterol levels and HDL lowers our cholesterol levels.
As mentioned earlier the medication is known lowering the cholesterol level, the possibility of some common side effects cannot be ignored. Constipation, stomach pain, headache, mild nausea, stuffy nose, skin rashes and back pain may be felt after taking the medication (in rare case). In fact these are common side effects that disappear automatically.

Eat less oil: - one of the first things that an individual dieting should avoid is to eat foods that are deep-fried or those’re cooked using oil. These incorporate potato chips, fries, fried meat, fried seafood, fried veggies and a complete lot more.

Oil, when taken into the body translates to cholesterol. What you ought to be eating are foods what’re boiled, steamed, baked and braised. Grilled foods will probably be eaten but not so much.

Eat less meat: - The fats from meat contain much cholesterol. If you can prevent eating meat all the frequently, better; but if you cannot stop munching those meat, just eliminate the fats that hang on the side. Chicken and Turkey meat is a lot healthier so if you might have a selection, choose these kinds of meat products. Twice as many forget to get rid of the skin though as cholesterol concentrate in white meats can be found on the skin.
There are three types of fats, namely saturated, unsaturated, and poly fats. You can refer to my article tiled "A Simple Way to Understand Fats". Scientific studies showed that high fat diet is a possible cause of heart disease.
Watch cholesterol consumption. If you’re on a low cholesterol diet, you’ve got to pay attention to the food labels and make sure you keep your intake below 200 mg per day. That means watching serving sizes, too. Reduce Stress. Stress and anxiety cause chemicals to be released into your body, raise your blood pressure, and reduce blood flow to your heart.
